While Britannia has been well known for its brands, under Hemant’s leadership, the company has done some cutting edge work on distribution models, sales information systems and performance management. In his time spent with Britannia the company has delivered growths ahead of industry, gained market leadership, scaled up direct distribution by over 60 per cent, reduced spends by over a third and done all this with lesser manning.
