BJ The Chicago Kid was the latest singer to come through our office and bless it with a live acoustic performance. With two laidback guitarists by his side, BJ chilled in the studio for the length of the performance, and he killed it. His silky vocals sound as crisp as ever, it's easy to vibe out to this. Take a look at the acoustic performance above, and let us know if you're feeling it just as much as the original record.

T-Pain is preparing for a new studio album, and after giving us a little appetizer with his Gangsta Grillz mixtape The Iron Way, he's ready to start really promoting the fifth album. He dropped off his first single, featuring Juicy J, a few weeks back and it's an appropriate twerking/strip club anthem called "Make That Shit Work." T-Pain has a penchant for creating strip club soundtrack music, and with that in mind, when he visited our office the other week we had him do his top 5 records to "make that shit work."

Kicking off the list, T-Pain names Cee-Lo's "Closest Freak" as #5. For slot #4 he lists Juvenile's "Back That Ass Up," and then he gives himself a shout out at #3 with "Up Down." Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall" slides in at #2 and, unsurprisingly, the auto-tuned singer rounds out the list with his own single "Make That Shit Work." Fair enough?

For many, the best part of Meek Mill's 4/4 Part 2 was Tdot Illdude's introductory hook. Tdot gained a lot of curious listeners that day -- nascent fans, impressed but unfamiliar, who would tune into Tdot's The Vibe is Heavy EP to see if that hook was a fluke... it was not.

Today, Tdot releases the video for Cardiak-produced "Sometimes," which has been a fan favorite from the EP. The Jersey native heads to sunny Los Angeles, where he bikes below the palm trees before cuddling up with his purple-haired lady, a pair of champagne flutes, and a bag of California kush.
